OUR STORY
FROM THE
SOUTH SIDE
TO THE FRONT LINES
Allen Mickle was born and raised on Chicago's South Side. He knows firsthand the weight of poverty, the pull of the streets, and the cost of violence in a community. That lived experience didn't break him — it became his blueprint.
INSIPLE Coalition was built from that redemption. Every program, every curriculum, every outreach worker we deploy carries the same message: the power to change is already inside you. We simply provide the information to unlock it.
"We are not just changing lives. We are building futures. One person, one family, one community at a time."
— ALLEN S. MICKLE, CEO & FOUNDER
THE NAME BEHIND THE MOVEMENT
WHAT INSIPLE MEANS
i
INFORMATION
Everything begins with knowledge. Without the right information, we wander. With it, we are equipped to make choices that guide us toward a better tomorrow.
N
NEEDED
This information isn't optional — it's essential. Every individual in every community deserves access to what they need to grow, heal, and thrive.
S I
So i
Personal ownership. The pronoun matters. This is your journey. We provide the tools; you claim the transformation.
P
PLAN
Planning is power. Through job training, mentoring, and violence prevention, we help individuals craft blueprints for futures defined by purpose — not circumstance.
L
Life
More than programs or policies — this is about living fully and freely. We equip people to wake up with purpose, walk with dignity, and know their lives matter.
E
Everyday
Not just once. Not just when it's easy. Every single day — because transformation is a daily practice, and our commitment to this community is permanent.
A COMPLETE ECOSYSTEM — NOT JUST SERVICES
OUR PROGRAMS
We don't just provide services. We create pathways to purpose — meeting individuals at every stage of their journey, from crisis to stability to leadership.

VIOLENCE PREVENTION MODEL
Credible
Messengers.
Real Results.
Our violence prevention work is led by people who have walked the same streets, felt the same pain, and chose a different path. That credibility is the foundation of everything we do.
We deploy structured outreach teams across Chicago's South Side neighborhoods — interrupting conflict before it escalates, connecting individuals to services, and building the trust that no government program can manufacture.

Community Scholar Program
77
One scholar per neighborhood. 77 scholars total. A faith-anchored, annual cohort model that develops block-level leaders who know their community from the inside out — and have the tools to transform it. Leadership through lived experience, civic responsibility, and neighborhood ownership.
100 Pillars of the Community
100
100 community leaders. Each contributing to a Community Leadership Fund that fuels economic empowerment, business ownership, credit building, and violence prevention. Long-term. Multi-generational. Community-owned. This is what neighborhood accountability looks like at scale.
Violence Prevention & Leadership Redemption Curriculum
A structured 16-week program combining leadership development, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, accountability, and faith-based healing. Designed for individuals who need more than a program — they need a pathway.
Reentry & Restoration Support
No one is beyond hope. No community beyond healing. Our reentry support connects returning citizens with housing assistance, job training, mentorship, and the credible messengers who have walked the same road — because representation in recovery matters.
OUR FOUR PILLARS
What We Stand On
Wisdom
Knowing we cannot do it alone — that we must learn, grow, and adapt every day. Wisdom is the willingness to be shaped by experience.
Power
The ability to take what we've learned and transform it into action — creating opportunity not just for ourselves, but for others in our community.
Strength
The resilience to keep going when the road is hard, and to lift others along the way. Strength is choosing community over comfort.
Freedom
To live unbound by fear, violence, or hopelessness. A life defined by dignity, harmony, and opportunity — for every person, in every neighborhood.
